Scanadu Scout, the first Medical Tricorder

3.  Scanadu Scout™ is built on the 32-bit RTOS Micrium platform  The Scanadu app will come in Android and iOS versions  Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Low Energy (LE)  A full charge takes less than an hour and the Scout can last for about a week if used only a few times a day

4.  Visible and IR light sensors  Electrodes  Accelerometers  Thermistors  Gyroscopes  Microphones etc.

5.  Electrodes touching the head and one finger function as an electrocardiogram (ECG) that measures your heart rate and rhythm. An infrared thermometer touching the head takes your temperature. The other finger, a photoplethysmograph (PPG) reads your blood flow through your skin and measures your blood’s oxygen saturation.. The app (still in development) is slated to make recommendations about whether to seek medical attention and, though GPS, direct you to a nearby hospital or pharmacy if necessary.
