 To understand the requirements and practical applications of the three prongs of AB  To gain an increased understanding of at least two regional internship programs.  To learn how to utilize college interns to develop and implement a specific action plan based on the models developed by the city of Los Angeles and West Covina.  To successfully evaluate the current state of adherence to the measure.

1. accommodation of both genders; 2. provision of resources; 3. scheduling of games and practice times; 4. opportunity to receive coaching; 5. assignment and compensation of coaches; 6. access to lands and areas available to the agency; 7. selection of the season for a sport; 8. location of games and practices; 9. availability of locker rooms; 10. provision of facilities; 11. manner of providing publicity; and 12. standards of umpires, referees, etc.

 Internships for all accredited programs across country  In general 400 hours (10 40 hours,  Usually coincide with semesters  Paid or unpaid internships  Need to have an agency mentor  Mentor responsible for mid and end of internship evaluation and to guide intern while working for agency (goals, objectives, communication, etc.)

1. E- mail the internship coordinators 2. Interview students 3. Select your intern 4. Complete the agency acceptance form 5. If you offer an unpaid position and are a new agency: affiliation agreements (worker’s comp) 6. Be flexible enough to offer the student a good learning opportunity while maximizing the benefits you receive from your intern
