Hi, I am your personal bank trainer, Penny Lena. Here at Cohn Bank we bet our last dollar that we can teach you all about the world of money. We are counting our pennies that you decided to join our million dollar team. In order to become a million dollar banker, there are a few rules that you must follow while on the tour: 1. Learn all you can about the value of money. 2. Learn how to make change. (GLE # 10)

Click on the quarter above to watch a great video on money. Before you begin your training, my good friend, Dr. Rock, would like to explain to you the value of money. So let’s watch a video.

We need to know what each coin is and how much each one is worth. Do you think you can be a million dollar banker and help us?

Did you get it right?

Click on the quarter above to view a great website on money. Now that we know about the value of each coin, let’s see the value of the dollar bill.

Now that we know you know what each coin is and how much it is worth. We need to make sure you know what each bill is and how much it is worth. Don’t worry, we know you know, but in order to become a million dollar banker, we have to make sure…

How did you do?

. Good, now that you know what each coin and bill is, we have to put you to the test. Let’s see how well you can do.

Add the coins below.

Are your amounts the same?

Now it’s time for the real challenge. Let’s say Ms. Rogers has to put money in the bank. She needs you to add up all of her bills and let her know how much she is depositing.

Mrs. Rogers needs to make a deposit into her bank account. She needs your help to figure out how much she is putting into it. Do you think you can help her?

How did you do?

Mrs. Rogers has money in the bank. She needs to take money out to make a purchase. Can you help her?

Mrs. Rogers needs to take money out of her bank account. Do you think you can help her? She spends $1.25. How much does she have left? She spends $3.28. How much does she have left?

Did you help? She spends $1.25. How much does she have left? She spends $3.28. How much does she have left?
