Activities under Teachers Support Training of teachers through effective and innovative methodology to ensure better classroom performance. Supplemental teaching in schools, through registered volunteers. Recognition to outstanding teachers through the Nation Builder Award to encourage them to perform better, Strengthening of District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs) by upgrading the infrastructure and training materials.

Training of Teachers Emphasizes the development of core skills like classroom management, leadership development, critical thinking innovative methods of teaching communication skills Specific subjects Through institutions specialize in Teachers’ Training, suggested by RILM or identified locally

Supplemental Teaching Done through volunteers to teach children after school hours The volunteer teacher must receive orientation on the requirements of the students from the School Can take up subject teaching or/and co – curricular activities Qualification must commensurate with class where s/he is teaching

Nation Builder Award Understand the evaluation process and follow all the steps Use RILM suggested Evaluation Sheets for Teachers, students and school principal Compile the score, upload project in RILM website. RILM designs certificates for the awardees Identify teachers with low score and organize training for them

DIET is District Institute of Education and Training Can be found in all revenue districts Works under State Education Department Responsible for training and re- training school teachers for Gov’t and Aided schools
