Public School Choice (PSC) in South Carolina provides students more educational options by encouraging the establishment of PSC programs and structures in districts across the state. Expanded program and structure choices in public education give parents the option to choose an environment best suited for their student's learning needs and interests. Each district or school decides which PSC program or structure fits its learning community. By providing diversified options in public education, South Carolina will continue to prepare its students for graduation and post-secondary pursuits. Public School Choices that Work

Public School Choice Structures Public School Choice structures organize the school in a unique way that accomplishes a set of identified learning goals. A structure is a vehicle through which a program may be offered. For instance, magnet school or charter school structures may feature the Montessori Method as its instructional framework/program.
