How to set up your Spider Habitat

Spider Habitat Remove the label. Save the cap.

Spider Habitat Use soap, clean the inside of the bottle carefully. Rinse well.

Spider Habitat Cut the top off at the seam at the top. This is where the neck begins to narrow towards the cap.

Spider Habitat Carefully dry the inside of the bottle. Place 4 cm of dry dirt in the bottom.

Spider Habitat Find a Juice bottle cap. These can be found in any of the trash containers in the commons. Rinse the cap well.

Spider Habitat Cut a small piece of a sponge. The size should be small enough to fit in the cap. Put this cap and sponge into the bottom of the bottle. Wet the sponge with distilled water.

Spider Habitat Label the bottom with your name and block. Store the bottle on the top two shelves on the rolling animal cart.
