 Can I discuss my paper with a tutor if my instructor hasn’t seen it yet? What if I don’t even have anything written down? - Yes, You may bring in a paper that your instructor hasn’t seen. - Also, you are welcome to see a tutor to discuss ideas and possible ways to begin a paper.  Should I bring my instructor’s assignment to the tutorial? - You don’t have to, but it’s highly recommended that you do. - The more the tutor knows about the assignment, the more he/she can help you.  What if I miss my appointment? - You will be a “no-show” and blocked from seeing a tutor for that week. - If you miss three appointments during a semester, you will be blocked for that semester. - Please be prompt because if you are more than 6 minutes late, your space will become available for walk-ins.  How can I be a Walk-in? - A student may sign in as a walk-in, hoping that someone with an appointment won’t show up. - If a student with an appointment is 6 minuets late for an appointment, a student who is signed in as a walk-in can take that appointment. - Walk-ins are not guaranteed an appointment, and do not have priority over scheduled appointments – It is a chance, not a guarantee.
