* My third purpose in life is to become like Christ, which is Discipleship.

1. GOD USES TRUTH TO TEACH US TO BE LIKE CHRIST. Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. NIV

Psalms 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. NIV

2. GOD USES TRIALS TO TEACH US TO TRUST HIM. Romans 5:3 we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. NIV
