Godly Husbands… 1)…take the lead.

Godly husbands take the lead. (Ephesians 5:22-23) Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. (NKJV)

Godly husbands take the lead. (1 Timothy 3:5) (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); (NKJV)

Godly husbands take the lead. (Proverbs 13:24) He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly. (NKJV) (Hebrews 12:9) Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? (NKJV)

So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. (NKJV)
