Folk Art… is fun, playful & whimsical has bright, joyful colours is often about everyday things, people and places doesn’t have to follow rules of perspective (eg. roads head ‘up’, size doesn’t vary in the distance…) Notice the characteristics of folk art in many of the illustrations in this picture book...
