The Statistical Information Team compile and disseminate statistical and epidemiological information on cancer that is up-to- date, accurate and meaningful to a variety of audiences compile UK cancer incidence and mortality data from data published by the constituent countries update information on of the most common types of cancer diagnosed in the UK annually

CancerStats reports comprehensive statistical and epidemiological information 30+ titles latest statistics and trends in incidence, mortality and survival; a summary of known risk factors and genetic predisposition review of screening programmes and early detection. We have around 500 regular subscribers who receive 10 updated reports annually.

Website – CancerHelp UK Cancer Research UK’s website for people with a diagnosis of cancer, their friends and family Presented in plain English is is designed for use by anyone Around 290,000 visits per month ‘Welcome to CancerHelp UK's section on cancer of the pancreas. About 7,100 people are diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas each year in the UK. This is about 3% of all cases of cancer and makes it the 10th commonest cancer in the UK. Cancer of the pancreas most often affects people in middle and old age. Roughly two thirds of cases (63%) are diagnosed are in those over 70 years.
