EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS OF TRANSPORT The licence is issued subject to the condition that the haulier returns with the licence to the state of establishment at the latest after every fifth transport journey without involvement of the state of establishment. Empty runs outside the country of establishment are not taken into account since they are not considered as transport operations. EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS OF TRANSPORT Phasing out Discriminatory Charges in International Road Haulage has been a goal of the ECMT since The report submitted on this issue identifies the existence of a number of discriminatory charges, most notably some large transit taxes in a small number of countries, which act as a barrier to trade and to fair competition. Discriminatory charges

EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS OF TRANSPORT How quickly countries levying transit charges can move to the recommended system of charges, abolishing transit charges or substituting them with charges applied equally to all vehicles, regardless of nationality? Discriminatory charges

EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS OF TRANSPORT Exchange of information between ECMT Member countries on Infringements concerning driving time and rest periods regulations = Infringements to AETR, in line with the procedures laid down in EEC Directive 88/599 Social aspects of road transport
