Density A Physical Property

Density is the amount of “junk” something has in it. So…..Just by looking at the super ball, beach ball and the basketball, which would be more dense?

Okay, so what really is density? Density relates to how much mass of a material is in a given amount of volume (density = mass/volume). Who was the first to figure out Density? Archimedes

And the story goes something like this?

Volume In science, we usually measure volume in Graduated Cylinders or beakers. Volume is the amount of space something takes up.

So, will a bowling ball float or sink in water? (Watch) _Xc _Xc

How about an egg? 7rg 7rg

Soda Pop and Density Now its Mrs. Myatt’s turn.

Does oil and water really mix? Look and see
