Presentation of Work Package 6 (WP6) “Design and implementation of Dissemination Activities” MATcHES Kick-off meeting Feb 2014 Ruse, Bulgaria TEMPUS BG-TEMPUS-JPHES “Towards the ModernisATion of Higher Education InstitutionS in Uzbekistan” (MATcHES)

WP6: Identification of the WP Workpackage type: Dissemination Workpackage title: Design and implementation of Dissemination Activities Start-end (Months): 1-36, Duration: 36 months Workpackage leader: CE – Consulta Europa Purpose of the WP: to ensure the widest dissemination of the project’s goals, progress and results. Furthermore, the aim of the dissemination WP is to maintain de visibility of the project activities while also building and nurturing relationships with potential users and other initiatives. We will demonstrate special attention to involve and engage stakeholders in the Regional Knowledge Platform.

WP6: Task 6.1 “Dissemination and raising awareness strategy” Description: A tailored dissemination and communication strategy will be created which will include more common dissemination activities such as the development of promotional material (project image, project leaflet and posters). It will be based on the definition of key target groups and their corresponding communication strategy, this means that the strategy plan will include a clear definition of the target groups and the most suitable communication channels to be used to reach each target group. Deliverable: D6.1 “Dissemination and raising awareness strategy” Delivery Date: 28 March 2014

WP6: Task 6.2 “Paper and electronic promotional material” Description: The promotional material to be produced will be distributed on print and on the Internet. The dissemination material will include: MATcHES leaflets and posters ; Newsletters; USB Keys containing the e-version of MATcHES training programme and other deliverables Target groups: Representatives from business world ; Local and regional authorities; Members of REPs; Other EU countries and UZ regions not directly involved in the project Deliverable: D6.2 “Printed and electronic promotional material” Delivery Date: 30 Apr 2014

WP6: Description. Task 6.3 “Website” Description: the project website will be a tool for communication to the general public (updating relevant stakeholders on the possibilities of collaboration coming from the project outcomes and activities) and a document repository at the same time. The project website will be linked to each website of the 3 REPs and to their common platform and to the e-learning platform. Target groups: Representatives from business world ; Local and regional authorities; Members of REPs; Other EU countries and UZ regions not directly involved in the project Deliverable: D2.3 “Other products ” Delivery Date: 7 February 2014

WP6: Description. Task 6.4 “Regional INFODAYS” Description: At least 3 Regional Infodays will be organised to present the activities of the project to the local communities. They will help to spread information and better understand the reality of the higher education system and sector in Uzbekistan Target group: Representatives from the local/regional UZ authorities; stakeholders from other business UZ support organizations and UZ universities representatives. Deliverable: D6.4 “Organisation of Regiona InfoDays to promote MATcHES” Delivery Date: 30 May 2014

WP6: Description. Task 6.5 “Open Doors Day” Description: At least 3 Open Doors Days will take place at the UZ Universities. Specific information about the project activities and potential outputs will be presented. Target group: Representatives from the local/regional UZ authorities; stakeholders from other business UZ support organizations and UZ universities representatives. Deliverable: D6.5 “Organisation of Open Doors Days” Delivery Date: 31 July 2015

WP6: Description. Task 6.6 “InfoDays Funding Opportunities” Description: 6 Info Days to present regional, national and international funding opportunities for research and innovation project will be organised in UZ locations. 3 Info Days reports to be delivered in 15-month and 3 other in 30-month. Target group: Representatives from the local/regional UZ authorities; stakeholders from other business UZ support organizations and UZ universities representatives. Other UZ universities. Deliverable: D6.6 “Organisation of InfoDays to raise awareness on funding opportunities” Delivery Date: 28 February 2015

WP6: Description. Task 6.7 “Final Conference” Description: The Final Conference of the MATcHES project will take places in Tashkent. This activity will be widely advertised and will represent an opportunity to present to the community the global achievements of the project. The conclusions of the conference will be publish in the proceedings. Target group: Representatives from the local/regional UZ authorities; stakeholders from other business UZ support organizations and UZ and UE universities representatives. Deliverable: D6.7 “Organisation of the Final Conference” Delivery Date: 25 November 2016

WP6: Partners involved – Leading partner Leading partner of the Work Package: CE Duties: Coordination of the dissemination and awareness raising activities. Creation and maintenance of website.

WP6: Partners involved – UZ partners All Uzbek partners give support to the EU partners in the execution of the general dissemination activities. All Uzbek partners will be in charge for organizing local dissemination events such as Regional Info Days, Open Doors Days and Info Days All Uzbek partners will support the organization of the Final Conference by dissemination the event at a local and regional level and inviting local, regional, national and international partners.

WP6: Partners involved – EU partners All EU partners will be actively involved in the dissemination activities according to the awareness raising and dissemination strategy. All UE partners will support UZ universities in the organization of the local and regional events and initiatives.
