Step One Generate 10 interests of yours, example: Civil War Create an open ended question for each interest, example: Civil War- What would life be like in the United States if the South won the war? Now pick your 5 best topics/questions that you see as a potential imovie.

Step Two Get with your potential group (4). As a group, brainstorm 5 topics that relate to Latin America and create an open ended question for each. As a group, decide on your best topic that could be made into an awesome imovie.

Areas Covered 1 st period- Argentina, Belize, Venezuela, Brazil, French Guiana, Mexico, Suriname 2 nd period- Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras, Paraguay 3 rd period- Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil 4 th period- Colombia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Guyana, Mexico, Panama, Brazil

Step Three Each group will share their best topic and I will write it on the board/screen. Once we get a number of quality imovie topics generated, then we will draw (lottery style) for each group to select a topic. Each group is now responsible for their chosen topic.
