What You Will Learn Today? By the end of this lesson, you will be able to… Identify what cyberbullying means Explain how to deal with a cyberbullying situation Understand the importance of telling a trusted adult when someone is mean to you online

What kinds of things count as bullying?? Turn to a partner & discuss Examples *Making fun of how someone looks *Telling lies about someone behind their backs *Threatening to do something bad to someone

Bullying is… Bullying is behavior that is purposefully mean or scary to someone else. How does bullying make other people feel?

What is the best thing to do when you feel bullied, or when you see someone else being bullied???? You should ALWAYS tell a trusted adult when you experience or witness bullying!!! Turn & Talk

What is Cyberbullying??? Cyberbullying takes place when someone is on the internet, texting, or in a social media site Cyberbullying is done with the intention to hurt someone’s feelings Cyberbullies do or say some thing very mean and/or scary, and sometimes do it over and over again
