(Deuteronomy 7:6) "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. (NKJV)

Some are chosen for salvation… (2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (NKJV)

Some are chosen for service… (Jeremiah 25:9) 'behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,' says the LORD, 'and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations. Some are chosen for service… (John 6:70) Jesus answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?" (NKJV)

(Genesis 12:3) I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." (NKJV)

(Romans 1:16) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (NKJV)

(Acts 3:22-26) "For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 'And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.' "Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. "You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.' (Genesis 22:17-18) "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." (NKJV)

(Genesis 13:15) "for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. (NKJV) “Forever”: Heb. “owlam” (o-lawm); can mean eternal but can also refer to a vanishing point in a general sense, or a figurative way for signifying “a long time”

(Titus 1:2) in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, (NKJV)

…not of this world. (John 18:36) Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here." (NKJV)

…was refused by Christ. (John 6:15) Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone. (NKJV)

…could have been established by Christ (had He so desired). (Matthew 26:53) "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? (NKJV)

…God’s saved people, the church. (Matthew 16:18-19) "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (NKJV)

(Matthew 3:7-9) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, "and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. (NKJV)

(John 11:26) "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (NKJV)

(2 John 1:9) Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. (NKJV)

(Galatians 3:26-29) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (NKJV)
