Border Quarantine  Import-prohibited countries  Import-prohibited regions are on the basis of major animal disease outbreak status of exporting countries. (FMD, BSE, HPAI etc.)  Quarantine ㆍ inspection service for the imported animals and animal products  Epidemiological investigation ㆍ clinical inspection ㆍ laboratory test  Prevention against contraband trade with Customs, Korea Coast Guard etc.  Maintain assistance with international organizations (OIE, WHO, etc)
