4 Cryo Infrastructure I - Sullair 500 (backup compressor) Installation All electrical & plumbing installations are complete Waiting for turn-on Surplus funds approved for use in commissioning helium dirty gas purifier system (Linde contract) Note: all work is “off-project” (not funded by LARP)

7 Power Supply & Controls Status 24KA IGBT Switch: Assembled and installed new three layer snubber circuit. This circuit configuration will be tested starting this week Cabinet mods to be completed after testing 24KA water cooled cables : Finished DI water cooling circuit, installed drain outlet and verified flow (>18GPM) and pressure drop. Finished hardware and software debugging of the new Lab View based Inline Helium purifier and its associated valve system. Installed and started wiring 144 channel variable gain isolation amplifier in the Dewar area. Helium Recovery compressor: Retrieved vendor programmed ladder logic code for modification and addition of remote control logic. Test setup Final config IGBT Switch

Controller and positioner to follow (2K heat exchanger P.O. delayed ~ 11 weeks due to T&C’s, later placed in 2 days through a Small Business intermediary; delivery 2/22/16 3/23/16) Balance of parts ordered, delivery 3/4/16 3/28/16 ASSEMBLY TO START THIS WEEK
