General Information Halong Bay is one of five UNESCO sites in Vietnam and is comprised of thousands of limestone islands dotted throughout calm waters. Halong Bay is approximately a 3.5 to 4 hour drive from Hanoi. Shared or private transfers can be arranged. Best time to go: November to September (typhoon activity can occur during Aug/Sept). Cooler weather occurs between November – March and warm clothing will be required. Hottest months are between June – August. Three day – two night itineraries are recommended to truly relax and enjoy the experience.

Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with Fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Two Day – One Night Itinerary Day 1: Embark at noon, a slow cruise to the famous islands of Halong Bay and onto Bai Tu Long Bay, aside from the cave visit “Thien Canh Son” and swimming, we will explore this beautiful area by kayak in 45 minutes. All meals and sleep aboard the vessel. Day 2: Enjoy breakfast whilst cruising Bai Tu Long, then visit a floating fishing village by traditional row boat to learn about daily life here. Arrive in Ha Long around noon.

Three Day – Two Night Itinerary Day 1: Embark at noon enjoying lunch along the way, slowly cruising through the famous islands of Halong Bay and onto Bai Tu Long Day 2: Continue cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay, exploring islets and lagoons by complimentary kayaks onboard or swim if weather permits. Either lunch or dinner today can be served in a special location, either in a limestone cave or on a beach.
