HISTORY Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences was founded in Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences

Graduate schools like;  Business Management School  Accounting,  Banking and Insurance Trade  Public Finance,  Cooperative Management which all were part of Ankara Academy of Economy and Commercial Sciences, formed the basis of the Institute of Social Sciences and became the first step of the historical development of the Institute. In the light of the explanations given above the mission of Institute of Social Sciences can be summerized as follows:  To educate academic staff for GU,  To educate academic staff from other universities in Turkey and to provide necessary support in their researches,  To meet the needs of public institutions’ qualified human resources,  To contribute to the needs of private sectors’ qualified human resources,  To educate international students who would like to be academic staff in their own countries,  To develop close relationships with the countries where these international students come from.
