Education and Training Committee 3 Development / review the educational content, assessments and accreditation guidelines assess suitability of candidates for Fellowship (including the International Medical Graduates). support the Chief Censor and other examiners in regard to the conduct of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 examinations; support the Chief Accreditation Officer (CAO) in his/her role of assessing training departments

Education and Training Committee cont 4 review and (where possible) resolve any issues raised by trainees or trainers regarding training content, assessments or examinations; support trainers and sites accredited for training through regular information provision; develop and administer educational policies, such as ‘recognition of prior learning’ and ‘flexible training’; support training networks by serving as an escalation point for any educational or accreditation network-level issues that can not be resolved by network’s local governance committee

Trainee Resource Executive 5 Trainee Resource Executive (TRE) coordinates all existing trainee resources -existing and in development Oversee all regular educational events on the Radiation Oncology trainee calendar:  Paediatrics course and  Statistics and Research Workshop Review existing educational resources and identifies new Phase 1 and Phase 2 resources Identify external resources e.g. ESTRO that might be shared, acquired.

Assessment Executive 6 Assessments Executive is responsible for the oversight of all assessments (including examinations) Review curriculum blueprint (i.e. match learning outcomes to assessment tools) Review and develop assessment tools (especially summative) including questions, criteria and instructions Contribute to training of DoTs and clinical supervisors Ensure alignment and linkage across Phase 1 and 2 – coordinate all elements of assessment
