10 Safety and Security All students are accounted for at all times via roll calls at all Close Up-led activities from breakfast through nightly room check 7:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m., upon arrival through departure. Close Up participants and staff wear their Close Up name tags at all times. The Close Up emergency number is listed on the back of each nametag and on all student and teacher daily schedules. All Close Up staff, comprised of both male and female instructors, is professionally trained to respond quickly and effectively in the event an emergency situation arises. All our staff master evacuation procedures and routes from all Close Up activity locations. 11 Price and What’s Included Total student price is $2607, which includes… –Airfare from MOB (excluding baggage fees) –Academic materials and instruction –Hotel accommodations –Three meals per day starting with dinner on Monday, ending with breakfast (or lunch) on Sunday. –All in-town transportation –24-hour supervision including night monitors –All admission fees –Tips/Gratuities –Secondary medical coverage and access to Georgetown University Medical Center –Close Up souvenir backpack, water bottle, and group photo Travel insurance is optional but STRONGLY encouraged

12 Pricing and Deadlines Total student price is $2607 Payment Deadlines: $600 due 4/29/16 $401* due 5/31/16 $401* due 6/30/16 $401* due 7/30/16 $401* due 8/30/16 *payments can be made on line any time and may decrease with fundraising Cancellations after September 22 th, result in a 100% cancellation penalty. You will need to get your participant ID and password from your school’s Close Up Sponsor to enroll at CloseUp.org. Close Up is a 501(c)(3) organization…donations can be tax- deductible.
