Regulatory Changes Florida Department of Environmental Protection updated in 2014 Changes included – Cross Connection Control for Public Water Systems LCU needed to update current policy to reflect regulatory changes

Category of Customer – Residential Auxiliary Water or Reclaimed Water Requires a Dual Check Auxiliary Water System means a pressurized system of piping and appurtenances using auxiliary water, which is water other than the potable water being supplied by the CWS. That includes water from any natural source such as a well, pond, lake, spring, stream, river, etc. It includes reclaimed water and includes other used water or industrial fluids described in AWWA Manual M14 as incorporated in paragraph (1)(a), F.A.C., and subsection (2), F.A.C. Auxiliary Water System specifically excludes any water recirculation or treatment system for a swimming pool, hot tub, or spa.
