Children InNeedChildren InNeed Do you know the reason why we are dressed in non-uniform? Who are our 2 friends?

What Does children in need do? Every year, Children in Need inspires thousands to fundraise and donate. With such enthusiastic support, the charity is able to help disadvantaged young people across the United Kingdom to have a happier and safer childhood.

Where does all the money go? We use the money raised to support a whole range of projects delivered by charities and community interest companies, all working with disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. As per the BBC Children in Need promise; for every penny we receive in donations, a penny will go to a project that we support.

How Much Money? Since our first major Appeal in 1980 BBC Children in Need has raised over£790 million, all of which has gone to help disadvantaged children and young people around the UK.

What happens to the money?. We make a pledge to the public that every penny they donate or fundraise for BBC Children in Need will be used to help disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. We honour that pledge by awarding funding to projects run by charities and community groups who apply to us outlining their track record and how their specific project will make a real difference.

Help Pudsey and Blush! If you buy Pudsey products from our partners all of the profits we receive go to support projects working with disadvantaged children across the UK. If you buy Pudsey products from us directly, we use the profits to meet some of our day to day costs, which includes the money we spend on finding, assessing and monitoring projects to ensure they are making a real difference to young lives.
