Presentation Activity Kaylon Krukiel June 13, 2013

How to make a mesh wreath  First, gather materials from your local craft store. You will need a roll of mesh, a metal wreath base and floral wire.  You will also need scissors (probably found in the home) and a large space to work.  Gather all of your materials in the space you have chosen to work and you can start the process.

Step-by-step instructions  First, begin by cutting your floral wire into approximately 40, three inch strips.  Next, you will gather the end of the mesh at any spot on the wreath base and twist a piece of the cut floral wire to secure the mesh to the wreath base. You can twist it and then cut the access or tuck it towards the mesh.  You will gather the mesh in a bunched fashion and then start to secure each bunch to the base with a piece of floral wire. Since there are marks on the base that show you sections, I usually try to gather 4 sections of mesh per mark on the base.

A large table works best. Photos of two items commonly found at home:

What will your wreath look like? This is a fall Pumpkin Mesh Wreath This is a Spring Wreath with a painted Initial

How much will it cost? It costs very little to make a wreath like this. Most of the materials will cost under 20$ depending on how detailed you get. A lot of craft stores offer coupons on full priced items to allow for additional percentages off, as well.
