Florist provides everything the customer needs Products include: Flower products Services Flower-related products Consulting Full-Service Shop

3 Specialty Shop Specialize in one specific aspect of floral design
Examples: Silk flowers Dried flowers Wedding flowers Specialty Shop

4 Carriage Trade Shop Similar to full-service shops
However, they only offer their services to a limited group of elite customers Need to develop and maintain a reputation of quality and unique designs Carriage Trade Shop

5 Stem Shop Offer a wide variety of flowers by the stem or bunch
Generally no design services Are often located in high traffic areas such as inside a mall or on the street Stem Shop A stem shop offers cut flowers and foliage by the stem or bunch, they sell on a cash and carry basis. Bucket shops run on a similar basis, but the flowers and greenery are sold out of buckets.
