STOP

“Stop Signal” 6 – Firm hand signal – Clear voice

If Someone Tells You to Stop… (even if you don’t agree) Stop what you are doing Take a deep breath and count to 3 Go about your day (no big deal)

If the Behavior Does Not Stop…

Walking Away Removes the Reinforcement for Problem Behavior

If Someone Walks away from you Stop what you are doing Take a deep breath and count to 3 Go about your day (no big deal)

Talk to an Adult.

BUT, you need to use STOP. And WALK. First… … or it’s tattling.

If there is DANGER… You don’t use Stop. Walk. And Talk. You REPORT!

If there is a disagreement… You don’t use Stop. Walk. And Talk. You WORK IT OUT!
