What is 5 A Day? 5 A Day for Better Health is a comprehensive, coordinated, national nutrition program to increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables to five or more servings each day by the year 2010.

Goals & Objectives: To increase the average consumption of fruits and vegetables to 5 or more servings daily. To emphasize the importance of eating 5 or more fruits and vegetables per day. To provide consumers with information on how to include fruits and vegetables into daily eating patterns.
