Personal Vision Statement I wanted to illustrate my background to emphasize the different experiences I have had with a great range of age-groups. I also believe education is a field where the teacher must be there for his or her students on a daily basis. This is reflective in the aspect of the 4 ½ years I have been teaching I have missed a total of 7 days, or I have been present for 803/810 days of school. Also, I believe that a productive learning environment and effective instruction are essential parts to the effective teacher. I accomplish a productive learning environment by having achieving a positive classroom environment where my students know they will not be ridiculed, embarrassed, or disrespected in any way. And this is accomplished through effective classroom management.

Consequently, effective instruction bides to the same principles. I provide the students with a variety of activities and ways of learning so no one left behind. Such activities as differentiated instruction, group and pair work, students teaching students, and classroom discussions. I believe this is also evident through my SOL scores from the school year where my classes had a passing rate of 95% or 88/93 students passed. Also, in 2008/2009 a pass rate of 93%. Hence, I do believe in my ability to help students learn and use that information positively in society. Therefore, I believe it would be an excellent opportunity for your school system to put in place a teacher, and a coach who is going to be there every day. I believe that loyalty, punctuality, longevity, and a positive attitude of teachers are key elements for the success of any school
