WHERE?

PinpointWCS -Input: science (FITS) and press release (TIFF) image pair -Output: TIFF image with WCS information in the header -Image requirements: -Astronomical -HST -Non-planetary objects

FITSTIFF

MAST -MAST database will be compliant with VO -Allows MAST to point to TIFF files on HubbleSite with WCS information

Future Work: VAMP and AVM -Database of standardized metadata for press release images -Single place that will store data from multiple research observatories and telescopes

External Applications -Planetariums -Redshift -Starry Night -Stellarium -Google Sky -WorldWide Telescope -Museum AstroKiosk

WorldWide Telescope

Acknowledgments -Lisa Frattare -Carol Christian, Zoltan Levay, Frank Summers, Christopher Summers
