Expectations: 1. Enter cafeteria by using the main stairs. Using the gym stairwell is not allowed. 2. Once downstairs the flow of students will always be clockwise. Once students make it down the stairs they need to stay to the right 3. Make a straight line and stay an appropriate distance apart from other students 4. Listen to the directives of all staff members 5. Clean up your eating area 6. Speak in a conversation tone 7. Students need a pass to leave cafeteria 8. Only 2 students to a seat 9. Eating and drinking is only allowed at the tables 10. All messes must be cleaned up

Brainstorm and Discuss  What do you like best about going to the cafeteria?  What is your least favorite part of going to the cafeteria?  Which adults are responsible for making sure you are safe in the cafeteria?  Who may you ask for help if you have trouble in the cafeteria?

Importance of being safe, respectful, and responsible  What does it look like to be SAFE in the cafeteria?  Leave space between you and others in line  Walk at all times  Keep all food off the floor  What does it look like to be RESPECTFUL in the cafeteria?  Only eat the food on your plate  Clean up your area: table and floor  Listen to all adults  What does it look like to be RESPONSIBLE in the cafeteria?  Wait your turn in line  All food and drink stay in eating areas  Pick up trash around you – even if left by others
