Once upon a time, there was a majestic mountain that stood high above the rest. Everyone knew of this mountain for it had hidden treasures buried somewhere inside. For years, people came from far and wide in search of the mountains treasures, but they all failed. Until one day, a brave man finally found the buried treasure after searching his whole life, and his name was Magohrat. With this discovery came unimaginable riches. 2

3 Magohrat used his new found riches to build a beautiful castle, which he happily shared with his friends and family from his village near by, and thus the great Kingdom of Magohrat was born.

King Magohrat was worried people would try to steal his treasure, so he decided to hide the rest of it in the castle to keep it safe from the robbers. And the location of the treasure would be passed down from one King to the next. For years, the treasure sat safely hidden within the walls of the castle. 4

To this day, the the kingdom of Magohrat is fabulously wealthy but is now ruled by King Magohrat IIV. King Mogohrat IIV and his Queen lived peacefully in the castle with their daughter, and new born son. 5

One snowy winter morning the King and Queen left their palace to attend the marriage ceremony. Knowing the journey would be icy and dangerous the King and Queen decided to leave their children at home. The Princess happily agreed to watch over her baby brother while her parents were away. 6

Not long after their departure, a storm suddenly hit the kingdom. As the storm raged on into the night, a robber came crashing in through a window in the main hall of the palace, but because the storm was so loud none of guards could heard. Safely in the palace, the robber immediately began quietly creeping closer, and closer to the King and Queen’s room. 7

After entering the castle safety, the robber headed straight to the King and Queen’s room where the robber would surely find many riches. Once he found their room the robber quickly started collecting anything of value; he found the King’s gold, the Queen’s jewelry, and much more. The robber shouted excitedly, “I’m rich, I’m rich!” 8

JUST THEN HE HEARD A CRYING BABY AND REALIZED THAT His shout HAD woke the baby PRINCE, who was sleeping in the next room. The robber, overcome with greed, thought of an even better plan to get all of the King’s treasure. “What if I take their most precious treasure, their newborn son,” thought the robber. “The King and Queen will certainly GIVE ME THE HIDDEN TREASURE in return for their baby boy,” he thought TO HIMSELF as he continued to think about his master plan. 9

The robber burst through the door of the children’s room where the Princess was trying to comfort her crying brother. Fearful of the stranger, the Princess yelled for help, but got no response. 10

“What do you want?” The Princess asked the stranger with a trembling voice. The robber replied, “I want the baby, for he is the key to the treasure.” “I will never let you take him, get out of here,” exclaimed the Princess! Without warning the robber lunged toward the baby and grabbed hold of his arm. The Princess tightened her grip on her brother and tried with all her might to hold on to him. The Princess cried, “Let go, let go, please, you’re hurting him!” 11

The robber kept fighting the Princess, pulling back and forth, as the baby’s face turned BRIGHT red. Then, all of a sudden, the robber dropped his bag holding the things he had stolen from the King’s room. The bag hit the floor with a bang and the robber instantly knew everything had been broken. 12

While they were fighting, the storm had clammed, and the guards could now hear everything that was going on. They rushed into the room and seized the broken treasure and captured the robber. After making sure the Prince and the Princess were not harmed, they threw the robber in the dungeon for the King to deal with upon his return in the morning. 13

After making sure the Prince and the Princess were not harmed, they threw the robber in the dungeon for the King to deal with upon his return in the morning. 14

Right when the King and Queen found out what had happened they raced home. Once the King and Queen arrived, they were overwhelmed with joy when they saw their children had not been harmed by the robber and it made them realize that the only treasure they really cared about was their family. The King banished the robber from his Kingdom, and the royal family lived happily ever after. 15
