EXPOSITION Time: present time. Setting: school , house ,and chocolate store. Time: present time. Characters: John , a greedy boy who loves chocolate. The Storekeeper . He gives the chocolate touch to John.

RISING ACTION John got a shiny new trumpet and music lessons. His music teacher let him play notes in the orchestra. John finds a special coin lying on the ground. It`s not an ordinary coin, it has no George Washington or Abe Lincoln on it. John finds a nearby candy shop and goes into it. He meets the chocolate man and buys one box of chocolate. John brought the box of chocolate home and he realizes that there is only one chocolate in the box. John eats the chocolate but it tastes like one million chocolates. John goes to breakfast and all of his breakfast turns to chocolate. His orange juice, eggs, and bacon all turned to chocolate! John goes to school and chews on his pencil right before a test. His pencil turns to chocolate and he can`t write. John goes to a birthday party and plays a game where he bobs for apples. The water turns to chocolate and John gets his shirt covered in chocolate.

Climax John does not like chocolate any more because its ruining his life. Everything he touches turns to chocolate. He does not want the chocolate touch any more.

FALLING ACTION John ran straight home to his mother. When he got home he gave her a kiss and she turned to chocolate! John ran to the candy shop and found the Storekeeper. The Storekeeper said that the coin John gave him was the only coin he could spend in the store. The coin was magic and only greedy people can find it. John asked if the Storekeeper could turn his mom back and get rid of the chocolate touch. He said “Have you learned your lesson yet?”. John said “Yes”. The Storekeeper told him to run home to see if his mom had changed back, and if she did, the chocolate touch would be gone.

RESOLUTION John ran back home to his mom and found she was back to normal . He also noticed that his chocolate touch was gone. He was relieved.
