The Pursuit of Education Why Kenya needs a school By: Reece Wind and Jacob Violand

Why Do They Need Help? There are many reasons why they need us to donate money, and here are the most important factors. Kids usually don’t start going to school until the ages of 10 and 11 due to the 5 mile (8 kilometer) walk that they have to endure every day when they go to school. Also, kids don’t get the food they need to keep form going hungry, or even dying. In the Masai tribe nutrition and food hygiene are of concern, the meat is sometimes raw and uncooked and every 10 minutes a child dies of hunger.

Our Goal Highlands Middle School and Ed Colina have decided to take action and build a school in Eluaai, Kenya located in Africa for the Masai tribe.

Ed Colina Ed Colina currently has three successful schools in Africa, and likes the idea of teaming up to build our school.

What We Need to Achieve We need to raise $2,500 for the school in Eluaai, Kenya.

How Our School Helps Our school we are building will be closer to their homes. Our school will have a 4000 liter water tank so the kids can get clean water. Our school will have at least 51 students, but we know there will be much more. Every day our school will provide one meal a day.

What It Looks Like

Will you help? They are in need, and our job is to help. Won’t you help?
