 PROBLEMS CAUSED BY WATER INGRESS  Water ingress and damp are the biggest destroyers of a buildings fabric.  Pollution, algae, efflorescence, cracking, spalling and blistering all contribute to surface breakdown.  Dampness is a breeding ground for dirty mould spores and other harmful bacteria that create an unhealty living environment.  The technology used in Properla façade coating can prevent these problems.  Keeping masonry surfaces clean and dry long term will stop the building from ageing.   Problem solution

 Properla® uses Silane /siloxane resins.  Superior water repellency (highest contact angle 140 degree +)  Excellent breathability (water vapour Permeable) SD VALUE 0.06  Hygrothermal Performance BS EN ISO  Superior self cleaning system  Extreme durability 15 – 20 years  Superior colour retention, resistant to ultra violet rays and infrared components from sunlight prevent the pigments from fading.

 Properla® - Has the Lotus Leaf Effect effect.  In nature the Lotus Leaf completely repels dirt and water due to its unique microstructure, through the development of the very latest German technologies Properla® coloured and clear wall coatings are able to replicate this unique super hydrophobic effect.  Pictures on right, water droplets on a lotus leaf. On the right, a microscopic photo of the lotus leaf. The lotus leaf surface contains microstructures that cause the water droplets to form and roll off the leaf.

 Water Repellency of Properla® Coloured and Clear coating  Properla coatings provide unique protection from wetness.  Silicone resin and silane technology work together to shut out water ingress, the tri-molecular cross linking resins bridge hairline cracks, allow unparalleled binding properties and breathability characteristics.  The products have a unique super hydrophobic, self cleaning and long lasting capability, years as a minimum.

 Properla® Vapour Permeability (Breath ability)  The high vapour permeability makes the products resistant to blistering and peeling, allowing coatings to last as long as years.  Silicone resins are the most water-vapour permeable form of silicones. This is the result of their skeleton, 80 % of which is inorganic silicone and oxygen.  Properla® has superior breathability  Excellent vapour permeability

PROPERLA CONFORMS TO BS EN ISO Hygrothermal performance PROPERLA CONFORMS TO BS EN ISO Hygrothermal performance  Hygrothermal performance determines how moisture build up in masonry walls/cavity`s accelerates heat loss.  The less moisture present the slower the thermal conductivity.  Moisture is a conductor of heat,It is a proven fact that wet walls transfer heat twice as quickly as dry walls  Properla® application will help reduce the moisture content within the walls, which in turn will slow down the transfer of heat. Resulting in lower energy use  Properla® is tested to BS EN ISO  Improving Hygrothermal performance  TEST RESULTS … SOIL RHO REPORT.

 Properla®….. unique self cleaning effect  Silane /Silicone resins have a size of 5-15 Nanometre this helps the coating penetrate deep into the substrate creating a super hydrophobic surface, stays permanently dry.  The high contact angle of 140 degrees + of the surface only allows a small area for water to make contact, which means the droplets will bead like marbles which roll off the surface picking up dirt particles and contaminants  Properla the most self cleaning system on the market.

 Properla® durability – Coloured and clear coating  The superior quality of the silane/ siloxane resins contribute to longer lasting colour retention and UV protection.  This Results in superior durability and life cycle 15-20yrs  Because the surfaces of silane/siloxane resin `s are highly water- repellent – The masonry stays permanently dry for a longer period of the year. This reduces the opportunity for colonisation by microbes such as algae or fungi.  IE, The surface self cleans.

PROPERLA® façade coating and Properla masonry crème SUPERHYDROPHOBIC Properies SUPERHYDROPHOBIC Properies  WHICH PREVENTS MOISTURE INGRESS –  RESULTING IN A DRY BUILDING  Slows down thermal conductivity and heat loss  OPEN DIFFUSABLE – ALLOWS MOISTURE TO ESCAPE  A PROVEN LIFESPAN IN EXCESS OF YEARS  A SUPER SELF CLEANING SYSTEM

 Properla® masonry Crème  Applied white and dries completely clear  To protect and retain the appearance of natural facades  Properla® masonry Crème penetrates up to 17mm into the substrate protecting the surface and repelling water offering a self cleaning surface

 Properla® masonry Crème  Moisture present in masonry walls speeds up heat transfer from inside the building to outside. However, Properla masonry Creme has unique properties helping to create a dry masonry wall, slowing down heat movement, therefore helping to keep fuel bills and energy consumption down The red area in the thermal image demonstrates the severe heat loss through the damp masonry wall. The blue area in the image demonstrates how when drying out masonry walls thermal effi ciency is improved resulting in lower energy costs.

 Properla® masonry Crème  Improves the thermal efficiency of the property  tested to DIN ISO for thermal insulation, proven in tests to reduce energy consumption  Tested to EN ISO 15148:2002 for Hygrothermal performace

RENOTEC™ ROOF COATING RENOTEC™ Roof Coating is Scientifically developed by specialised engineers with over 30 years experience in developing the highest quality protective coatings for the Roof tile industry.Treatment with Renotec Roof Coating will significantly extend the lifespan of the tiles and eliminate further surface erosion. The product is guaranteed to perform for well in excess of 10 years. Before After

RENOTEC™ ROOF COATING  THE PROBLEMS  Over time roof tiles will start to weather and their original surface protection will decrease. This can lead to the penetration of moisture and leave them vulnerable to attacks by moss, algae and fungi, and in winter, frost fractures. These weathering effects increase year by year and the quality of the surface will deteriorate. Exactly how a roof weathers depends on how it is subjected to acid rain, frost and UV rays. Before

RENOTEC™ ROOF COATING  THE SOLUTION  To help combat the weathering effects, and extend the life of the roof, you need to apply a professional roof coating. - RENOTEC™ is a technologically advanced roof coating which can protect your roof tiles in excess of 10 years. Compared to replacing the roof, coating your roof with RENOTEC™ will be much more cost EFFECTIVE  After  treatment

RENOTEC™ ROOF COATING  RENOTEC™ is based on a special organic 100% acrylic formula and contains specially selected pigments.  The first thing is to improve the look of the roof and thereafter to maintain and preserve aesthetics for many more years.  Renotec provides a WATER REPELLENT HYDROPHOBIC SURFACE  The coating will retain its extreme flexibility for the duration of its lifespan  Because the coating is hydrophobic,it will not crack or peel  RENOTEC™ is also very breathable so any moisture trapped can all breathe out.  Guaranteed for 10 years.

RENOTEC™ ROOF COATING CERTIFICATIONS Water permeability (MOISTURE TRANSMISSION) according to DIN EN Passed Water vapour diffusion (BREATHABILITY)according to DIN EN ISO Passed Flexibility according to DIN Passed Accelerated Weathering – Passed Accelerated Weathering – Passed For a roof coating to last 10+ years it must have all the above certifications.
