EUN is funded primarily by the Universities’ subscriptions and also by various services.

EUN services / functions include Internet and inter-connectivity for Universities Managing the.eg domain Technical support Technical consulting services Web sites hosting

EUN is currently involved with the following projects IT training (SCU/ICTP) Scientific db’s & “e-journals” (SCU/ICTP) e-Learning (SCU/ICTP) Data Center (SCU/ICTP) EUMEDGRID (EU) EUMEDCONNECT (EU/MCIT) e-government (MoAD) Infrastructure upgrade (MCIT/ICTP/SCU)

IT Training The “Central Unit of ICT Training” prepares and supervises ICT courses and testing for faculty, assistants, and staff at all Universities.
