TO MAKE LEARNING SPONTENEOUS AND JOYFUL ACTIVITY. TO DEVELOP READING AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE LESSON. TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO USE LANGUAGE CORRECTY AND CREATIVELY. TO LEARN NEW WORD MEANINGS. TO BE ABLE TO THINK WISELY AND DISCOURAGING LAZINESS

D eep in the Forest stood a very tall tree with leafy branches spread out like strong arms. T his tree was the home of a flock of wild geese. IN THE FOREST THERE WAS A BIG TREE zeenat

In the tree top lived some geese zeenat

Oneday the wise old geese noticed a creeper growing at the foot of the tree. Do you see that creeper?..Let us destroy it. Why must we destroy it? zeenat

“My friends.”.”.that little creeper will soon grow. As it creeps up this tree, it will become thick & strong.” “ What of that ?”..”What harm can a creeper do us”. zeenat

“Don't you see? “..“with the help of that creeper, it will be possible for someone to climb this tree. A hunter can come up & kill us all.” “Well there's no hurry.”..“the creeper is very small. It would be a pity to destroy it now.” zeenat

“Destroy the creeper while it is still young"." Now it is tender & you can cut it easily. Letter it will become hard & you will not be able to cut it “We'll see, we'll see.” zeenat

As the creeper grew, it began winding it's way up the tree. Stronger & stronger it become, until it was as strong as a thick rope. One morning when the geese had gone out in search of food, a hunter came to the forest. “so this is where the wild gees live”. “ When they come back in the evening, I shall catch them”. zeenat

The hunter climbed up the tree with the help of the Creeper & Spread his net there. I will come tomorrow morning to take the geese. zeenat

In the evening, the gees returned home. They did not notice the net. As they flew into the tree & trapped. They struggle hard to get out, but could not. “ Help! He…l…p! “We are caught in the hunter's net. Oh! What shall we do?” “Don't make a fuss now,” Long ago I told you to destroy the creeper, but you did not. Now see what has happened. Tomorrow morning the hunter will come back & kill all”... zeenat

“ We were foolish”...“We are very sorry we did not listen to you. Please tell us what to do”. “Then listen carefully.”..“When the hunter comes you must all pretend to dead. Just lie still. The hunter will not harm dead birds. He will throw us to the ground.” when last of us has thrown down, we must quickly get up & fly away. zeenat

In the morning the hunter came to the tree & Climbed up. He looked at the gees in the net. “They are all dead”, he muttered to himself. He threw them out of the net one by one. The birds lay Still until the last one had been thrown. Then, all at once, they got up, flapped their wings & flew away. The hunter was taken by surprise. So if our Parents & Teacher tell us to do on time. We have to do according to them, if we don't do according to them then we will suffer like the Geese. zeenat

Tomorrow morning when the hunter comes, don’t move.Pretend you are dead till the hunter throws all of you out of the net. O.K. zeenat

The geese pretended to be dead. The hunter thought the geese were dead and one by one threw all the geese out of the net. When all the geese were out of the net,the old geese said- “Fly together”. zeenat

And all the geese flew away and saved themselves from the hunter. zeenat

The geese have escaped. zeenat
