Controlled chaos EF 151, Section 1A Group 8

The PVC pipe is knocked out from under the tube, releasing the golf ball. The ball then hits the PVC wind mill and spins it. Step 1: The beginning Step 2: Getting things Rolling The wind mill rotates until it hits the wooden block, knocking it over into the lacrosse ball and sending the ball on its way down the ramp. The wood hits the ball with a force of.1 lbs b/c of conservation of momentum

Step 3: Taking a Swing As the lacrosse ball travels down the ramp, it knocks over another piece of pipe. This lets the golf ball start swinging towards the next step. Ball

Step 4: Pulling the Pin The golf ball swings and knocks the screw out from underneath the bottle of water. The bottle then falls down and pours water into the funnel.

Step 5: turn it on The water then flows through the funnel and into the basket, which is hanging from a switch on the fan. With the added weight of the water, the switch changes from “0” to “2” and the fan turns on.

Step 6: Rollin’ out The fan starts the golf ball down the tube, and starts the next machine. 17 in
