How do we compare with our neighbours within AGMA and other similar authorities? Performing well on – life expectancy, immunisations and vaccinations, smoking quits –Life expectancy gap is narrowing – on target –Smoking performance is on track –Healthy weight – 9.8% of 4-5 year olds are obese – but this doubles by year 6 More to do on: alcohol admissions, vascular screening programmes, bowel cancer screening roll out –Infant feeding – off track on breastfeeding initiation and 6-8 weeks –Alcohol – narrowly missed target – considering relationship between availability and consumption –Teenage conceptions – down but still a challenge
