Hillary Clinton Hillary Clinton believes that middle class Americans are working so hard, but are not getting ahead in life. She knows that in order do so she will have to raise middle class Americans incomes. Economy(Strong Growth) will invest in clean energy and scientific and medical research Will cut taxes for hard working families in order for them to pay for other things. Fair Growth Will change the tax code so that the wealthiest pay their fair share of taxes. Will raise minimum wage to $12. She believes that workers should bargain for higher wages.

Hillary Clinton Long term Growth lowering health care costs (explore more cost effective ways for American to be covered) Increase workers pay, benefits, and training Workers Protect workers from being exploited Support working families’ Protect retirement security

Donald Trump: Tax Plan Goals: o Middle Class tax cut o Simplifying the Tax Code o Grow the American Economy o Does not add to our debt and deficit

Donald Trump: Tax Plan How to achieve these goals: 1.Depending on a persons salary, you’d either not owe any income tax, or save an average of almost $1, Instead of the 7 brackets, all Americans would get a simpler tax code with 4 brackets with 0%, 10%,20%, and 25%. 3.No business of any size will pay more than 15% of the business income in taxes. 4.No family would have to pay the death tax.

Bernie Sanders Bernie Sanders wants to accomplish change that will greatly benefit all people (rich or poor). He says that government has the money while he has the people, and that together we can make anything possible. Creating Jobs: 1.He has signed the Rebuild America Act. This is an investment of $1 trillion over five years to modernize our infrastructure (buildings, roads, power supplies, etc.) that our economy depends on. This Act will support more than thirteen million good-paying jobs. Living Wage: 1.Wants to ensure that no full-time worker lives in poverty and feels that minimum wage must increase to $15 an hour 2.Feels it’s a requirement that employers provide at least 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave; two weeks of paid vacation; and 7 days of paid sick days to their employees 3.Wants to ensure that workers receive overtime pay protection

Bernie Sanders Continued.. 4.Bernie Sanders wants support and to strengthen the labor movement to ensuring that workers have a say in their own economic futures. 5.Fight for women's equal pay rights. 6.He is a strong supporter of the Employee Free Choice Act- this basically makes it easier for workers to organize and bargain collectively. Income and Wealth Inequality: 1.Wants to ensure that every American can retire with dignity and respect. By lifting the cap on taxable income (Social Security) above $250,000, will achieve that cause. 2.He wants to make healthcare a right of citizenship by enacting a Medicare for an all single-payer healthcare system.

Raphael (Ted) Cruz Ted Cruz wants to end Government spending. Ever since Obama became president there’s been 5 years of stagnation which means we’ve had no economic growth. To fix this problem he has made one major change: He signed the Cut-Cap-and –Balanced Pledge  Cut-cut government spending  Cap-spending caps that will put federal spending on a budget  Balance-a balanced budget amendment added to the constitution but only if it includes both a spending limitation and a super majority for raising taxes.

Marco Rubio Small Business Problem He believes that the problem is that business are being destroyed rather than created. Believes that tax increase and Obama Care hurt small businesses Plan Revive American small business again to do what they do best. restore sanity to labor laws Promote growth by changing the federal tax code Keep regulations and costs low Cut taxes for small business by 25%

Marco Rubio Workers& Taxes Problem Workers don’t have all the opportunities possible to achieve the American dream Increase in taxes hindered working Americans from getting ahead Plan Expand Options for Workers Give workers a choice Cut taxes for working Americans Take away corporate taxes to raise wages
