History Upper and lower Canada became a country in Joined Confederation: 1871 – B.C. 1873-P.E.I. 1912-Manitoba Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories 1949-Newfoundland.
Capital city Queen Elizabeth II 1967 gave Canada 12 swans. The 12 swans turned in to a Canadian flock. you can see the swans swimming in the rideau just above the rideau falls. Queen Juliana sent seven thousand tulip bulbs to Ottawa as a thank you for her safety in World War II.

The Coat of Arms There are three royal lions on the coat of arms. The royal lions are ;the royal lions of Scotland, Ireland`s harp and francs`s fleur-de-lies. On the bottoms the French fleur-de-lies the Scottish thistle the inrush shamrock and the English rose. On the coat of arms the maple leafs riper sent Canada forest.
