July 2012 Updates: Alma explores the world! Alma loves drawing on the BIG PAPER, and sometimes she invites her sister to draw along with her.

She has been initiating art activities, like making a collage or drawing with chalk.

Grandpa Ido sent a letter with a set of birds pictures. Alma was very interested in it and made up games.

While dancing around with the jester hat on, Alma discovered by chance that it can slip over her face. She thought it was hilarious and embarked on a wild game of exploring the room without seeing it at all. She bumped into furniture and walls while giggling and had a fantastic (though wild and dangerous) time!

Alma loves depositing things so she was more than happy to clean up after Hahgoot so she could get a chance to play with the coins and the Kitty bank... Alma asked to have the “butterfly wings” on and went “flying” on the sofa She has been playing with the felt board, making games with me about family issues like going to sleep or eating

We have had some improvement at playgroup: Alma doesn’t allow me to leave the room, but she will play far from me now. The theme this term is “me and my body”, and this week it was “hands” (right)

Casual or Smart, she is always cute...

Got to have a nap, with a doll, or two or a dozen... I was like that too as a kid...
