Sooner or later in a Literature class, we need to discuss "the F word": Feminism. I don't understand statements of this sort: I think that the media exploits women's bodies, sure, but I'm not one of those feminists! Feminist Criticism focuses on 3 components: 1. It raises consciousness about the patriarchy in which many women feel trapped.
