Microsoft Project – Tutorial 6 Working with Excel as Microsoft Project uses many sheets for entering and working with data, it is fairly easy to import and export information to and from Excel open the file TrainingLab-6 and save as usual right-click Select All and choose Cost click the Show button on the Formatting Toolbar and select Outline Level 1 click Select All and copy open a file in Microsoft Excel and paste the data into it

Microsoft Project – Tutorial 6 Exporting to Excel In Project, select the Data you want to Export Go to Tools > Options > Security Tab and “Allow loading files with legacy or non default file formats” File > Save As notice the many file types that you can Save As if Saving As an Excel Worksheet gives you trouble, try saving in tab or comma delimited formats (ex..csv) follow the wizard and choose the fields you want to include
