Europe has seven different language families: Germanic, Romance, Celtic, Slavic, Baltic, Greek, and Albanian Each of these families have several languages Germanic languages include English & German Romance Languages include Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese As Europeans colonized other parts of the world the languages spread
