EARLY CHILDHOOD CONSULTATION PARTNERSHIP A COLLABORATION BETWEEN ADVANCED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & THE THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. FUNDED BY THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT MENTAL HEALTH STRATEGY BOARD.

THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CONSULTATION PARTNERSHIP “HELPING RELATIONSHIPS GROW, ONE STEP AT A TIME.”

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS ARE THE DAY TO DAY EXPERTS. It is important to recognize and support early childhood educators as the day to day experts, who have some of the greatest impact upon many of our youngest children.

STATISTICS Sixty-five percent of mothers with children under age six are in the labor force. Three out of five young children are in child care. Children enter child care as early as six weeks of age and can be in care for as many as forty hours a week until they reach school age. (Children’s Defense Fund, Apr. 2001)

ECCP MISSION The Early Childhood Consultation Partnership strives to support and enhance the Building of relationships among and between all significant adults in a child’s life. This in turn, serves as prevention, intervention, and treatment, all of which promotes the most enduring and optimal outcomes for young children, their families, and the providers who care for them.
