Paschal Mystery The Paschal mystery is the life, death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus. Jesus saved us from our sins through the Paschal mystery We celebrate the Paschal mystery when we attend Mass. Jesus showed us that he was human when he suffered and died on the cross. As Jesus suffered on the cross, he asked God to forgive those who had hurt him. Mass is the celebration of the Paschal mystery.
