REFLECTIONS PDP LESSON JOSE MAURICIO OVIEDO VARGAS MEN’S AND WOMEN’S ROLES

REFLECTIONS IT IS NOT EASY TO SELECT A TOPIC. HOWEVER, THE CHOOSING OF THIS ONE IS BASED IN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PUT IN PRACTICE THE COGNITIVE TARGET THAT IS GOING TO BE USED IN MY FUTURE PLANS. THIS IS NOT ONLY AN ACT OF TEACHING SOMETHING, I AM LEARNING FROM MY COLLEAGUES. Why ?

REFLECTIONS OBJECTIVE: MAKING UNREAL SITUATION WITH MEN’S AND WOMEN’S TO UNDERSTAND OUR SOCIETY. MEN’S AND WOMEN’S ROLES

REFLECTIONS A LITTLE NERVOUS WORRIED ABOUT THE TIME IN A HURRY ANXIOUS HOW DID I FEEL?

REFLECTIONS TASK#1 (SONG IF I WERE A BOY) WATCHING AND LISTENING TO A SONG TASK #2 (MATCHING EXPRESSIONS) MATCHING NEW VOCABULARY WITH SYNONYMS. Pre

REFLECTIONS TASK#3 (FILLING IN THE GAP) LISTENING TO THE SONG AND COMPLETING THE FIRST STANZA TASK #4 (PREDICTIONS) IF SHE WERE A BOY :WHAT DOES SHE SAY ABOUT RULES, PHONE, DRINKS, FAITHFUL. Pre

REFLECTIONS TASK #5 (RUN FOR IT) TEAM WORK TO GET THE LYRICS OF THE SONG. TASK #6 ( FIND THE GRAMMAR STRUCTURE ) IN PAIRS, STUDENTS UNDERLYING THE UNREAL CONDITIONAL FORM: IF + SUBJECT + PAST TENSE, SUBJECT+ MODAL+ BASE VERB. During

REFLECTIONS TASK 7(CHANGING ROLES) STUDENTS CHANGE ROLES AND WRITE A NEW STANZA. TASK #8 (SOLVING PROBLEMS) ACCORDING TO A LIST OF PROBLEMS THE STUDENTS SHARE OPINIONS TO GET THE SOLUTIONS AND LATER EXPRESS THEM IN A CIRCLE. During

REFLECTIONS TASK #9 IF I WERE PRESIDENT STUDENTS MAKE A SPEECH IN A FREE WAY TO COMMUNICATE IDEAS TO CONVINCE PEOPLE. STUDENTS FORM A PARTY OR TEAM. LATER, THEY PRESENT THE IDEAS IN FRONT OF THE CLASS.. Post IF I WERE PRESIDENT

REFLECTIONS TO LEARN HOW TO CONTROL THE TIME TO LEARN HOW TO DESIGN A CLASS WHERE ALL THE ACTIVITIES DEVELOP THE SAME GRAMMAR STRUCTURE TO BE MORE FOCUSED ON INSTRUCTIONS. TO HAVE GOOD FRIENDS IN CLASS (SOLIDARITY) Personal Learning

REFLECTIONS THE BEST: THE BEST WAS THE LEARNERS, THEY WERE VERY ENTHUSIASTIC WITH THE SONG. ALSO, THE ACTIVITY “IF I WERE PRESIDENT” GAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPRESS PERSONAL AND FUNNY OPINIONS.. THE WORST: I THINK I USED A LOT OF PAPER, SO IT IS NECESSARY TO LOOK FOR MORE GREEN ACTIVITIES. THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE GAME “RUN FOR IT” WERE A LITTLE MISUNDERSTOOD AT THE BEGINNING. Conclusions
