 SS6H6 The student will analyze the impact of European exploration and colonization on various world region Essential Questions:  How did European exploration impact European development?  What factors, including the contributions of Prince Henry the Navigator, influenced European nations to begin overseas exploration?  Why did European nations build colonial empires in Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Australia?

 Topics covered: Renaissance, Exploration, Scientific/Industrial Revolutions, and Russian Empire  Due at end is a packet with all of these assignments stapled together, each is graded along the way: 1. chart on page 300 (completely filled in) 15 pts. 2. notes: Renaissance, Exploration, Revolutions, Russian Empire 12pts. (3 pts. Each) 3. p pts. and p pts. In the WORKBOOK 4. p out of 15 pts. In the RSG  All of the above assignments must be completed and handed in at the end. There will also be other assignments as well for this chapter.
